A quick shot of the Speedmaster Mark IV

I love that watch and have seen it with strap only for a long time... I like this dial which looks very technical to me, the combination of shades of grey, the specific hands for the chronograph etc... Have nice beginning of week Cheers, Mark

[Baselworld 2016] Omega novelties (pictures only)

As a loving owner of a Speedy Mark IV, I always have a look at what Omega does and one thing I noticed this year is that we've been offered several Liquidmetal dials and even a two-tone ceramic bezel. Here are the pictures I gathered from Omega. You can f

A review of the Mark II, the "other" Speedmaster

The year 1969 was a turning point for humanity: for the first time, the man managed to break free of gravity to explore space. Astronauts - who did pioneering work in setting foot on the moon - wore Omega Speedmaster chronographs. The same year, Omega pre

Mark IV wristshots

Hey everyone, As we are beeing presented a reedition of the Mark II as pre-basleworld 2014 novelty, I thought we could make a kind of little roll-call of Mark XX Speeds. I have this watch since it was bought new (It was my father's before beeing mine). I

I have a Mark IV already, maybe that's why I love the design already: I'll get 1 of each

I'll of course have to see it in the flesh. The original "Marks" have a great dial, in terms of coating treatment and lighting. Thus I will have to see how it looks like in the metal. But if it is as good as the original version is, I think I could go for

Interesting model

I remember well this one poping in 2013. I always liked the Speeedmaster (I have a Mark IV) and especially this dial that will never go out of fashion. Here, I'm not sure it's my favorite dial among the collection. I like 2 sub-dials dials but I don't che

New Arrival Blue Dial 176.007

Long on words but short on (my usual rubbishy) pics but never mind. While in Edinburgh sampling the delights of the festival a couple of weeks ago I was having a bit of a mooch around a well known AD and got talking to the manager who had spotted the Flig

The Omega Seamaster and Comex

The collaboration between Rolex and Comex is very famous, but the diving watches addicts know very well that the Omega Seamaster has also been tested and used by Comex from the late 1960’s to the 1970’s. The Seamaster 300 has been the choice of many of th
